This is a place where users can communicate with administrators, or administrators with one another. You can report vandalism, problematic users, or anything else that needs an administrator's intervention. Do not report child pornography or other potentially illegal content here; e-mail legal-reportswikimedia.org instead. If reporting threatened harm to self or others also email emergencywikimedia.org.

Report users for clear cases of vandalism. Block requests for any other reason should be reported to the blocks and protections noticeboard.	Report disputes with users that require administrator assistance. Further steps are listed at resolve disputes.	Reports that do not suit the vandalism noticeboard may be reported here. Requests for page protection/unprotection could also be requested here.	Other reports that require administrator assistance which do not fit in any of the previous three noticeboards may be reported here. Requests for history merging or splitting should be filed at COM:HMS.

problem with abuse filter/error reports (wrongly filtered as "vandalism")

Hi, I know this is not the perfect place, but my last edits got filtered on other pages. Please feel free to move this report to another page:

1. I tried to add a category to a file. I got the error: "An automated filter has identified this edit as potentially unconstructive, and it has been disallowed. If this edit is constructive, please report this error."
2. On the linked page dedicated to error reports about abuse filters, editing was also filtered out/blocked, which really seems counterproductive: "Error while creating the report: This action has been automatically identified as harmful, and therefore disallowed. If you believe your action was constructive, please inform an administrator of what you were trying to do. A brief description of the abuse rule which your action matched is: L T A 257"
3. And then, the inform an administrator page is generally closed for IP edits.

What now? Nothing is wrong with my edit. I would be glad if someone else could add the category to the file (see my first edit attempt here). And maybe someone could adapt that anti-vandalism filter, so "false positives" can effectively be reported. This case is really annoying. Feels like being in a Kafka scenery.
